A book Project by The Surreal Arts club and the International imaginative Artists association(IIAA) in cooperation with nEgoist



In line with the celebration of the surreal Arts Club's 5th anniversary, the Surreal Arts, IIAA and nEgoist are proud to announce the launch of the first Contemporary Surrealist Book Collective of this Millenium with a limited edition Book entitled:







We will chose 100 of the best contemporary Surreal Art Works done by the members of both the clubs.




Facts about the book

The book will contain 100 artworks from artists worldwide:
Traditional paintings
Traditional drawings
Digital works (photomanipulation, digital drawing)
Mixed Media (collage...) and Sculpture
Protography and prints (photography, traditional printing, etching...)


Each contributor will receive a copy of the book.

It will be printed in 700-1,000 copies, size 10 X 12 inches.

Planned release: 4Q 2009




Procedure

The works will be selected by the edition team and will be displayed in =the-surreal-arts collections:


TRADITIONAL PAINTING

TRADITIONAL DRAWING

DIGITAL WORKS

SCULPTURE AND MIXED MEDIA

PHOTOGRAPHY AND PRINTS

We will ask some members to participate by writing short essays, which will be displayed through the Book.

The club will announce the final selection on July 30

Hector Pineda will contact the artists in order to ask for the agreement, the files (tiff or jpg max quality, 300dpi resolution and CMYK or RGB color) and their personal address to send the contracts on August 15 at least.

The signed contracts, sent by traditional mail, will be needed from August 30 to September 5.

One work per member.
Selected works will be added to favorites in club folders.
Deadline submissions: Jun 30th.
